MY WALK WITH GOD
Up early, the streets so quiet, just the way to start the day. Into a quiet church, a good morning to those in there (not many), then a prayer to the Lord. The service starts, a talk from Chris to think over, then prayers for the needs of others and the world.
Now
we come to the lovely Peace we share with each other.
The big moment has come when we are invited to the Lord’s Supper. How close I feel to him at these times. I also find it a great privilege to pass the chalice round to my fellow Christians.
My communion is the one thing that helps me through the week and I look forward to the invitation to be at the Lord’s table the following week.
Try it sometime and you will be surprised what a difference it makes.
After all, our Lord says: “Do this in remembrance of me”
