you attend the Family Service on 12th March, 2006?
Wasn’t it great?! We were
treated to an excellent puppet show by PUGS, a group run by Sam Wilkes’ (one
of our Highlanders) father, Martin.
The puppet show was used to share important Biblical messages but was done in such a manner that it was funny, thoughtful and uplifting. I loved the use of some modern pop songs which had been adapted to include Biblical themes – Reach, Eye of the Tiger and the Friends theme seemed to have everybody tapping their feet, eager to join in.
By the way – PUGS = Puppets Growing Seed of course!
