Each year St. Paul's Church runs a holiday club during the first week of the school summer holidays for local children aged 5-11 years. (There is a separate club for young people aged 11-18). Each holiday club has a special theme and throughout the week there is a mixture of gospel teaching, craft activities, quizzes, games and a range of other fun events. One year, some 60 children joined the holiday club for the 5-11 age group and around 25 young people joined the club for 11-18 year olds. The theme was Follow the Yellow Brick Road with everyone joining in to produce a play based on the Yellow Brick Road theme especially adapted for St. Paul's Church. The children performed the play on Sunday 1st August at the 10.00 a.m. service and here are some pictures of that event. Another year, the holiday club was all about building bridges and again some 100 children joined in the fun. This time the older age group (11-18) had almost 40 young people and a great time was had by all. There is a holiday club every summer and there have also been regular craft days during the year.
