Home Groups

St. Paul's Church

What is a Home Group?

A Home Group is a place where a group of Christians or people interested in Christianity can meet in a relaxed and informal setting. Meetings usually take place in a Church Member's home.

What Happens at a Home Group?

It varies from meeting to meeting but normally either a passage from the bible or a particular subject is examined. There is time for discussion, debate and chat. Some Home Groups will finish with a time of prayer. Some weeks a purely social meeting takes place.

Would I Have to do Anything?

No, you can contribute as much or as little as you like. You wouldn't be forced to do anything.

What Would I Gain From Attending?

You would learn more about living the Christian life, learn more about the bible and have a chance to discuss anything you like with like-minded people. Also, the Home Groups have become a place where people feel comfortable to share their hopes and problems.

How Can I Find Out More?

Please ring the Vicar, Chris Cant for more details on 020 8500 3366.
